Planning a trip April 10 - April 17th 2027 to Orlando. We have already booked a house. There will be roughly 9 adults and 8 children. We would like help planning going to Disney World.

    Hey there, Chris!

Welcome to planDisney! The excitement is real, and the countdown is on. Your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth will be here before you know it, and there's a lot of fun to plan. Let's go over all you know about getting theme park tickets, planning for dining, and more, so you can finalize all the practically perfect details!

The very first thing you will need to do is create a My Disney Experience account. Each Guest should create their own profile, and you can link them to your account so you can all plan together. I also recommend that parents create accounts for their children, so they can manage their accounts throughout their visit. This will be very helpful when assigning tickets, making dining reservations, and securing Lightning Lanes. Once everyone has an account, you will be ready to purchase theme park tickets! I do want to mention that 2027 theme park tickets are not available for purchase just yet. Tickets traditionally become available in the spring of the previous year, so the announcement should be coming soon! Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about Walt Disney World Resort. Once tickets become available, you'll choose the first date you want to visit a park, the number of days you will need tickets, and the ticket type that works best for your travel party. Follow the remaining prompts to check out and assign tickets in moments

Okay, on to dining! You can make dining reservations 60 days in advance. So mark your calendar and set your alarm. The booking window opens at 6 AM ET. Larger parties may need to book two tables for some locations, so be sure another member of your crew is ready to book too!

And finally, be sure to download the My Disney Experience app before you arrive. This is your pocket guide to Walt Disney World Resort on the go! You can check attraction wait times, find character experiences, and stay up to date on show times, including firework displays. There is even an option for Mobile Food ordering. This feature makes ordering for a crowd a breeze, and saves you time by avoiding lines! I know we covered a lot, and you may still have questions. Stop back anytime, Chris. We are here to help!

I hope your upcoming adventure is magical!
