I am due to go to WDW in November with the payment due to Disney by end of July. I’ve just found out my bonus is now coming a month later in August. Is this possible to extend the final payment or delay the holiday.

    Greetings, Millie!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so sorry to hear that there is a bit of a delay in receiving your bonus. I am sure that wasn't the news you were expecting as you head into the final countdown to your trip. But we are here to help! Let's go over Walt Disney World Vacation package payment requirements and trip change options so you can finalize your details with confidence.

Disney World Resort holidays that include accommodations do need to be paid in full 8 weeks prior to arrival. If the final balance is not paid by this date, your booking will be canceled, and the deposit would be forfeited. I am sad to report that payment extensions are not available. Millie, you may be able to push back the dates of your trip, which would give more time for that magical bonus to arrive! The lead passenger can request a change by contacting a Disney Expert by phone. They will be able to go over any change options available and update you on a new payment due date. I hope these tips help you make the best decision for your travels!

Millie, early November is a great time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. The days are still warm enough for mid-day pool breaks, and the evenings are cool without being too cold. And you may even arrive in time for the launch of this year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party lineup. What a practically perfect way to launch the holiday season!

We can't wait to see ya real soon!
