Hi! We are planning a trip for 4 adults, 4 kids (ages 6, 3,3 & 1) We are trying to decide between CBR & PO Riverside? What are some of the pros & cons of each? Resort size, pools, food options, shuttle ride to parks, etc?

Hi Rachel! Caribbean Beach Resort has recently been refurbished, and has a fantastic pool area. The rooms have also been updated, and you can even opt for a pirate-themed room. The food court is awesome. It is a huge resort though, but internal buses can take you around. It will take you about 10 minutes to get to the Hollywood Studios and Epcot, 15 to the Magic Kingdom and 20 to the Animal Kingdom by bus.

I love Port Orleans Riverside. The rooms are almost refurbished and gorgeous. I love the setting, on the Sassagoula River, where you can take a boat  to Downtown Disney. That's one of my favourite features of this resort! The Ol' Man Island pool area is awesome. It will take you about 15 minutes to get to the Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom and  about 20 to the Animal Kingdom and Epcot by bus. Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter are my favourite moderate resorts, and I highly recommend them!

    Hope this helps Rachel!
