Hi Anna,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad that you stopped by for help with planning your upcoming visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth."
Thankfully, there are several options for
Disney Resort hotel rooms for parties of five or more, and all of them offer the same wonderful
perks! I'd be happy to help you find the best one to meet both your Disney dreams
and your budget. First, two Value Resort hotels,
Disney's All-Star Music Resort and
Disney's Art of Animation Resort both offer Family Suites. The great thing about these is that there are separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms as well as a kitchenette. You'll also find some Moderate Resort hotels that accommodate five Guests per room. Both
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside offer rooms with two queen beds and a child-sized pull-down bed. Here's a
great answer from my fellow Panelist Ritzy to help you figure out if your 12-year-old would be comfortable in the pull-down bed. If that doesn't seem like a great fit, Hakuna Matata...no worries!
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is another Moderate Resort hotel that can comfortably sleep up to 6 Guests. Of course, many of the
Deluxe Resort hotels and
Deluxe Villas also sleep five Guests and offer wonderful amenities, too. Plus, don't forget that you always have the option of booking two rooms and requesting adjoining (nearby) or connecting (next door with a door between) rooms, too. Once January 2020 Disney Resort hotel packages become available to book, which should happen mid-June, I'd encourage you to enter your travel dates online and see what prices will be for your exact dates.
Please feel free to come back and see us again with any other questions you have as you're planning your trip, Anna. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation next January!
Missy
