    Hello, I am planning on taking our first trip to Walt Disney World in June 2013. My aunt, 16yr. old cousin (girl), my 13yr. old daughter and I will be going. Do you have any suggestions on what Disney World hotel we should stay at? Any other tips for me?

    Alicia,

    I would suggest that you look at one option per resort category, so that you can then pick based on your budget. Here is where I would stay with teens;

    • Deluxe: Yacht Club
    • Moderate: Port Orleans French Quarter
    • Value: Art of Animation
    I suggest the Yacht Club because it gets you close to two of the parks that have comparably more appeal to teens (Epcot and Hollywood Studios), and you get the easily accessible nighttime entertainment over at the BoardWalk. But unlike the neighbor resort (Beach Club), it can be a bit quieter of a hotel stay.

    I like Port Orleans French Quarter because you get boat access to Downtown Disney, which could make for a nice night out.

    As for the Art of Animation, you get a bit more room to spread out in terms of beds than at other values, though the cost will be higher than one standard value room. If you want to go with a regular room, you can get that there too.

    Write me back if I can help with any other suggestions!

    Have a magical vacation!
