I am planning on taking my first cruise ever and we decided on a Disney Cruise. What cruise would be the better to take leaving from Galveston? Are there family rooms? We need a room for my husband and I and a separate room for my daughter and sister?

    Ahoy Haydee!
A vacation on the most family friendly cruise line is a wonderful idea!  There are several great deals right now for the Galveston sailings and any of them would be perfect for your first cruise experience.  The Kids Sail Free from Galveston includes the 8-night Bahamian sailings which makes a stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay and at the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you are looking for a shorter, Caribbean sailing, both the 6-night and 4-night cruises are included in the special offer as well.
The staterooms onboard Disney Cruise Line are quite spacious and very family friendly.  Most of the staterooms include a split bath set-up which is very convenient for families.  One bathroom contains a sink with a tub/shower while the other bath has a toilet and sink with both have great storage.  On the Disney Cruise website, you can compare up to three staterooms at a time to see which one works best for your crew.  Connecting staterooms are available and if you call (800) 951-3532, a Cruise Reservation Agent can help you with your selection.
I hope my answers help you with your plans, Haydee!  If you think of anything else, please don't hesitate to ask!
Have a magical day and happy planning!
