Hi Eilen,
What a magical way to spend your 3rd birthday! I have celebrated my kids' birthdays at Disney World before, and it is such a wonderful experience. I am sure that you and your daughter are going to make memories that will last forever.
Since your child will be 3 years old on the day of their visit, you will need to purchase a
theme park ticket for her. The age range for children at Disney World is aged 3 to 9. This will apply to all dining locations as well. Make sure to grab a celebration button at
Guest Services for her to wear throughout the visit and write that you are celebrating a birthday on it. She will get lots of "Happy Birthday" wishes from cast members and guests that make the day feel extra special. I also recommend wearing a birthday t-shirt or hat signaling it is a birthday celebration and utilizing
Disney PhotoPass photographers to get some excellent pictures to commemorate the occasion!
If you have not decided on which theme park to visit yet, Magic Kingdom is the perfect location for your daughter's age. There are
so many rides that she can enjoy like "it's a small world", Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Peter Pan's Flight, and if she isn't scared easily the Haunted Mansion. I also recommend making a reservation at one of the many delicious table service restaurants at Magic Kingdom and having a
cake delivered with "Happy Birthday" emblazoned on it. These celebration cakes are delicious and I try to find any excuse to order them. My favorite place to celebrate my princess is at
Cinderella's Royal Table where she can get pictures with all of her favorite princesses.
Happy Planning and Happy Early Birthday
Jenna
