I am planning on taking the bus to animal kingdom for early magic hours then hopping to magic kingdom. I only plan on staying at animal kingdom for an hour. Will there be bus transportation at 8:30am from AK to MK?

Hakuna Matata, Tayvin, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort visit will be here before a hyena can laugh, so let's make sure you will "Be Prepared" for some early-morning park hopping.

I chatted with a roaring Cast Member who said bus service between theme parks begins about 45 minutes before the park's listed time for park hopping. So, if you're hopping to Magic Kingdom Park and Park Hopper Availability starts at 9:00 AM, there should be a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park heading to Magic Kingdom as early as 8:15 AM. You can find theme park hours online or in your My Disney Experience mobile app by tapping the Park Hours & Info tile.

I haven't used bus service for park hopping that early, but I'd suggest allowing extra travel time since those buses might not run as regularly as they do later in the day. You could also use a rideshare service if time is important, but that's more costly. I typically use rideshare if I have a dining reservation and need to arrive by a specific time, but I prefer complimentary Resort Transportation.

Tayvin, I hope the circle of life finds you having your most magical visit ever. Please stop by planDisney because we just can't wait to be king...of the planners!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
