Planning on surprising my daughter with a trip to Jaleo at the end of our stay. What are the differences between the Jaleo Experience and ¡Eat Like José! tasting menus? I am having trouble finding what is usually in each or what is different.

Hello, Mark, and welcome back to planDisney! You and your daughter have a Walt Disney World Resort adventure coming soon, and it sounds like you're planning to feast like royalty. You're my kind of people! Let's look at your dining options at Jaleo® by José Adrés.

I have to admit that I've never eaten at this Disney Springs restaurant, but the Spanish-inspired menu looks fantastic! I don't think you'll be disappointed no matter what you choose, but let's look at the two tasting experiences this location offers.

Since the chef uses the freshest, in-season ingredients, the actual menu for both experiences could change daily. I did a little online research to see what other guests have been served recently, so I'll share what I found.

Jaleo Experience offers a selection of classic tapas and original dishes. One online review I read mentioned that this option was described as sampling the most popular dishes on the menu. I see a spinach salad, grilled pork sausage, sautéed shrimp, and about a half-dozen other items. My tip is to come hungry!

The ¡Eat Like José! menu features premium items from the chef's repertoire and might include dishes such as caviar, mussels, and their hand-carved Jamón Ibérico de Bellota. This option typically offers a few more tapas to try than the Jaleo Experience, and might even have some off-menu surprises.

Both options require a minimum of 2 people, so you and your daughter will have that covered. Since I'm only guessing what you might be served, I think waiting to speak to your server is your best bet. They'll know more about that particular evening's offerings to help you make a delectable decision.

Mark, I hope you stop by planDisney to give me your review of Jaleo because you've made me curious! Have a magical time on your trip!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
