Hi, I am planning on surprising my brother and his family on a Disney Dream Cruise. They are coming from the Philippines on a tourist visa. What are the requirements for them to go on the cruise? It seems everyother person I ask has a different answer.

Welcome aboard, Christine! What a big surprise you have in store for your brother and his family! A Disney cruise is one very magical vacation, and one on which you will make many memories together.

I contacted Disney Cruise Line about your question and it seems that there will very likely be a few requirements for your brother and his family to set sail since they will be traveling on a tourist visa from the Philippines. I suggest you contact Disney Cruise Line at 1-800-951-3532 to discuss the exact details. You may also need to contact the embassy for the Philippines to check on specific requirements or limitations of the visa. Each country has their own regulations, as do the ports to which you'll be sailing, so to be sure you have the correct information, chat with Disney Cruise Line and then the embassy.

Thanks for your question, Christine. I'm happy to help with any other questions you might have as you continue to plan for your cruise!
