I am planning a surprise trip for my family to the Disneyland Resort and it's all about the princesses for my little girls so I was hoping to find a character dining experience like Ariel's Grotto used to offer. Does such a thing exist anymore?

    Hi Angie!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love watching little girls frolic around Disneyland Resort in their princess gear and truly receive the royal treatment! While Ariel's Grotto is no longer available and there is not a similar Character Dining Experience available, there are still plenty of opportunities for your little ones to meet the Princesses!

My first stop I would recommend is Royal Hall in Fantasy Faire. Here your little princesses will be able to meet up to three different Princesses and have a wondEARful, intimate experience with photos, autographs and of course, hugs! Stick around for Storytelling at the Royal Theatre, where they'll be able to watch some of their favorite stories come to life, live on stage. Once you've enjoyed the splendor at Disneyland Park, you can hop over to Disney's California Adventure Park to meet Anna & Elsa

While my last recommendation doesn't include meeting the Princesses directly, for the true royal experience, you must bring your own little Princesses to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where their very own Fairy Godmother will transform them into their favorite Princess. This is a highly popular destination, so I would certainly recommend booking a reservation for your visit!

Please come by and let us know if you have any other questions!
