We are planning on staying in the same room with another family. Will we be able to have 2 Keys to the World accounts?

Unfortunately not. All of the Key to the World cards for one room must be linked to the same account.

In your particular case, it may be easier if you don't use your Key cards as charge cards and instead just pay for your purchases with cash or individual credit cards, this way you won't have to have complicated discussions at the end of your trip about who bought what.

Have fun with your friends at WDW.
