    WE are planning on staying at riverside port orleans. How many pools do they have? I hear 1 will be closed? Our reservaions are from 3/29 to 4/5 ? Is there a site that gives an estimated time to certain theme parks? Thanks, Michelle

    Hi Michelle,

    You're right the main pool at Port Orleans Riverside is currently closed, it shouldn't effect you though as it's due to reopen on March 1st. There are 5 other pools throughout POR and guests are also welcome to catch the boat to Port Orleans French Quarter and use the Doubloon Lagoon pool there so there are many places to go for a swim!

    POR is very close to most parks and when we stayed there it didn't seem to take longer than about 15 minutes to get anywhere using Disney Transport. I have found a great planning tool at www.ourlaughingplace.com if you scroll to the bottom of the page and click transport wizard you can input your starting and destination points and it shows you the quickest way to get there and approximate times.
