Hi! We were planning on staying in the mermaid rooms at AoA, but was wondering if we could ask for additional chairs in the room. I don’t want my kids to sit on the bed after a hot, sweaty day at the parks. Is this a request that could be honored? Thanks

    Hey there, Melissa!

I'm so excited to welcome you to planDisney today. It looks like you're diving into plans for a summertime visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth...how fin-tastic! My family will be splashing into Disney magic this summer too, and if Ariel were here, she'd say you're about to collect all the gadgets and gizmos aplenty as you plan for your adventure. It's definitely shaping up to be part of your world in the very best way!

How fun that you'll be staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort during your trip. The theming there is absolutely incredible...it really feels like you're stepping right into your favorite Disney movies! Between the larger-than-life characters, the vibrant outdoor areas, and The Big Blue Pool (the largest pool on Walt Disney World Resort property!), it's such a fun, family-friendly resort that keeps the magic going long after you leave the parks.

Your Little Mermaid themed room will include two chairs. But, if you'd like a couple extra, you can check with the front desk upon arrival or reach out to Housekeeping. Cast Members are always happy to assist when they can, though availability is limited and cannot be guaranteed.

Did you know that because you're staying at a Disney Resort this summer, you receive complimentary water park admission on your check-in day? Even better, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open, so you can decide whether to brave the thrills of Summit Plummet or cruise the twists of Crush 'n' Gusher!

Melissa, I hope this helps as you continue planning your trip! If any other questions come up, you're always welcome to return to planDisney!
