Hello we are planning on staying at the cabins at fort wilderness and our return flight is at 6am so we would need to leave for the airport at 4am. Will ride share drivers be allowed to pick up at the actual cabin or do we have to walk to the outpost?

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for hiking over to planDisney with this great question. I'm so excited to stay at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort one day. They look like the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with your loved ones in a beautiful setting. You are sure to have a magical stay!

Internal shuttles operate at Fort Wilderness from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. with stops at designated Campsite and Cabin loop pickup areas, Outpost, Settlement, and Creekside Meadow. Unfortunately, this won't be of much help when it comes to a 4 a.m. airport pickup, so I reached out to a chat Cast Member for additional information. They advised that your ride-share may be able to pick you up at your cabin at that time. This is typically not permitted, except for Minnie Van Service, so I definitely recommend confirming the current policy with the Front Desk when you check in for your stay. I would hate to see you making a last-minute, early-morning jog to the pick-up area with all your luggage if things don't go according to plan.

If the Front Desk confirms that ride-share will not be permitted to enter the Cabin loops, you can inquire about assistance from Bell Services. I'm hoping they will be able to offer some transport assistance to get you on your way to the airport in a timely fashion.

I'm sorry I don't have a more definitive answer for you today, Laura, but I'm hopeful you'll find the right solution. In my experience, Cast Members always have a pixie-dusted way of making magic happen.

Please blaze a trail back to us again with more planning questions. We're always ready to help ensure all guests are happy campers.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
