    Planning staying at AKL in standard view roon..is there a place at the hotel where I get to have the savanna view ie. restaurants, lobby, pool? Or the savanna view is just for these special rooms?

    There are many public areas at the Animal Kingdom Lodge where guests can view the animals on the savanna. You can see zebras, giraffes, ostriches, and many other species from windows along the hotel hallways and from dedicated viewing posts on the hotel grounds.

    One of my favorite public viewing areas at the AKL is the new Sanaa restaurant at the AKL Kidani Village building. Here you can enjoy wonderful food while watching the wildlife from panoramic windows. I ate there this summer and was seated quite far back in the restaurant, but still had amazing sightlines to the animals.

    You'll still have plenty of animal experiences no matter where you stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
