Strike up the band, Shelley, and welcome to planDisney, where we never toot our own horn! Thanks for stopping by with this melodic question about your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit. I have a stay booked at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort in a few months, so let's tune up and get some answers together.
I talked to the leader-of-the-band Cast Member, who recommended you call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to make any specific requests for the section or building you'd prefer. While there is no guarantee they will be able to grant your request, I've found that they will work hard to make your stay harmonious.
If you've booked a preferred room, I'd suggest requesting one of the Calypso buildings since they're the closest to Melody Hall. But my family prefers the quieter pace of the standard rooms, with our favorite section being the Rock Inn. Take a look at the
resort's online map and march to the beat of your own drum, Shelley!
One tip is to complete
Online Check-In through your My Disney Experience account. You can enter your contact information and payment details here before your visit. You can also go to the Details on File section, click Show Details, and edit your Room Requests. The options that will drop down vary by resort, but I can prioritize an early check-in, a king-sized bed, or the ground floor for my All-Star Music stay. The most significant advantage of Online Check-in is that you can skip the front desk! You'll get a text when your room is ready, and your room number will populate in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. It's as easy as A-B-C sharp!
I know your upcoming visit will be pitch-perfect, Shelley! Please
stop by planDisney anytime. It's no "treble" at all!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
