Planning to stay at Pop Century. I hear it's a really BIG resort! Which building should I request to be close to the bus stop? Are those rooms considered preferred? Also, husband loves steak, which restaurants would you recommend? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the question Linda. We loved the Pop Century - the theming and the grounds are fantastic! The set-up at Pop Century is such that no building is an unmanageable distance from the bus stop. That said, I would recommend requesting a room in either the 50s, 60s or 70s sections to be closest to the main pool, Classic Hall, and the bus stops. The 60s rooms are preferred, and have an additional charge of approximately $15 per night plus tax.

Ahhh, steak. I'm not sure why, but I always seem to be craving steak when I'm at Disney World, and have sampled more than my fair share! Here are a few of my faves:
    - Le Cellier, Canada pavillion, Epcot. The mushroom filet is my ultimate favourite.
    - Teppan Edo, Japan pavillion, Epcot. Cooked in front of you, it's super yum and entertaining.
    - Jiko, Animal Kingdom Lodge. The oak-grilled filet mignon served with homemade mac and cheese is out of this world!
    - Narcoossee's, Grand Floridian Resort. Surf and Turf with filet and lobster tail - need I say more?
    - All Star Food courts (yup, that's right). The create you own salad topped with made to order steak is SO good, and a great value!

Hope that helps. The full service restaurants above fill up quickly, so be sure to book in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

    Have a magical vacation!
