I am planning to stay at one of the All star value resort, I want to know how long is the bus ride to TTC? how frequent is the resort bus? if I don't buy the ticket when I make the hotel reservation, will I still get the magic band?

    Hi Yee Yan!

We have stayed at Disney's All Star Resorts a few times and love walking around the resorts to see all of the cool themes of the buildings!  If you choose to take the Walt Disney World Bus Service from any of Disney's All Star Resorts, the bus will actually take you directly to Magic Kingdom Park, not the Transportation and Ticket Center.

The bus ride from Disney's All Star Resorts to Magic Kingdom Park is about 20 minutes, but can vary depending on traffic.  If you are planning your mornings, remember to also factor in the time it will take to actually begin your journey.  Buses usually arrive every 20 minutes.  When we are taking the buses to the parks, we usually allow about an hour for travel time from our room to the entrance gate of the park.  That way, we won't be rushed if something unexpected happens!

Everyone who stays at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel will automatically receive a complementary MagicBand.  You even have the option to customize your MagicBand in your My Disney Experience account once your reservation is linked (as long as it is still at least 11 days before your arrival)!  You can have your customized MagicBands shipped directly to you, or you can pick up non-personalized MagicBands at check-in.  I hope you have a fabulously magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
