We are planning to stay at the Grand Floridian and have a reservation for Cape May for 6:00pm and tickets to Cirque Du Soleil. What is the best way to go from place to place and do you think the timing is too tight considering the 9:00pm show?

    Margaret,

The Cape May clambake is delicious!  I'm sure you will love your meal there.

I don't think you will have any problems making your Cirque show, but I would take a few precautions to make sure the evening runs smoothly.  First, show up early to the Beach Club.  Every time we've eaten dinner there it has been very crowded and it took a while to check-in.  Disney recommends that you arrive 10-15 minutes early - I'd go 15-20 minutes early.  You should also mention your show tickets to the hostess at the podium when you check in, so that they can help to keep you on schedule.

Depending on what time you finish your meal, you can judge from there if you have enough time to catch a bus to Downtown Disney or if you need to take a taxi.  I think that you should have time to use the Disney transportation, but this will depend on how close to your reservation time you get seated and begin your meal.

    Enjoy your evening!
