We are planning to stay at a Disney World Resort in late August, 2019. It'll be for my boy's bday celebration in early September. Can we still ask for a birthday button? Also, do we have to purchase a theme park ticket on our day of check out?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gigi! There is simply no better place to celebrate your boy's birthday than the Walt Disney World Resort. I'm sure you guys will have a truly magical time!

You can request a birthday button during check-in at your resort and/or at Guest Services in the parks. You should get one for yourself too!

As for the theme park ticket, the answer would be yes if you are planning on visiting one of the parks that day. You can check out in the morning before heading to one of the parks and leave your luggage with Bell Services; they will be happy to store it for you for the rest of the day. My family loves to visit either a water park or Disney Springs on our last day. You will not need to have a ticket for Disney Springs as there is always free admission to this location.

Enjoy every second of your visit, Gigi! Please let us know if you have any more questions. I'd be delighted to help you further!

    All the best,
    ~Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
