Hi Gurpreet!
Thanks for coming back to visit us at planDisney!
I’m happy to let you know that your Lightning Lane booking window is linked to your resort stay, so you’ll be able to purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Single Pass, and/or Premier Pass 7 days prior to your check-in date beginning at 7:00 AM Eastern.
There are a few things to make sure you have done prior to that booking window opening, though!
Some convention ticket types require
park reservations. You may not need them since your tickets are date-based, but a friendly Cast Member I chatted with recommended that you try to make park reservations. If you get a “Park Reservations Not Required” message, then you know you’re good to go! And if you are able to make them, then you know you need them.
Next, depending on your specific convention ticket type, you might have limited hours at the park. If you have a ticket type that only allows you to enter the park after 1 PM, make sure your Lightning Lane return times are for later in the day.
Finally, make sure you have your tickets linked to your
My Disney Experience account so that you don’t run into any problems when you go to purchase your Lightning Lane service.
TIP: On the day your booking window opens, I recommend getting on the My Disney Experience app as soon as you can to give yourself the best chance at getting the Lightning Lanes you’re hoping for. I tend to book Lightning Lanes for the end of my trip first, then work my way backward.
Hope that helps! And of course, we’re happy to help with any other questions that pop up as you continue to plan your trip.
