We are planning a stay at the Cabins in Aug 2020 We keep debating about the golf cart rental options as we are a family of 5 I know Disney recently changed their rules about outside vendors delivering equipment Does this apply to golf carts?

Howdy Angela! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are the perfect way to add some outdoor adventure to your magical Walt Disney World vacation. I think renting a golf cart during your stay is a great idea! You will get plenty of walking in the parks, so why not save those feet a bit by having a convenient way to get around the sprawling campgrounds. There are some unique recreation activities, excellent dining options, and spectacular pool areas at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, so you can make your way to all of the fun easily, with the use of a golf cart.

Golf Carts are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis, or in advance by calling 407-824-2742, directly from the Reception Outpost at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. You are able to rent golf carts from an outside vendor, but you must be present to accept the delivery as Cast Members are not able to receive deliveries on a guest’s behalf. I highly recommend you calling ahead and making an advance reservation with Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for convenience and safety’s sake.

I hope you have a rootin’ tootin’ good time on your vacation!
