Planning to stay at AOA in March. I see there is not a hot tub there are we able to go to another resort to use a hot tub?

    Hi Brittany,

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad you brought your question to us today.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort is my go-to recommendation for first-time visitors and fans of classic Disney films like The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, and Cars. The colorful decor, spacious Family Suites, and Disney Skyliner access to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios are a total trifecta in my eyes.

This resort features three fantastic pools one of which, The Big Blue Pool, is the largest on property. Though you'll find plenty of places to flip your fins on a relaxing resort day, you will not find any hot tubs at Art of Animation or other Value Resorts. Pool hopping is also not available, and most resorts will require a room key or MagicBand to enter the gated pool areas.

Disney resort pools are heated year-round, so you probably won't have to worry about the temperature when it's time to take a dip next March. However, if you are hoping to soak off those miles walked in the parks you may still be able to switch to another resort. Disney's Coronado Springs has a fantastic 22-person whirlpool spa at The Dig Site, but I've also enjoyed the hot tub at Disney's BoardWalk Inn as well. I recommended contacting a Cast Member by phone if you'd like to discuss your options for modifying your existing reservation.

Brittany, I know this is not the answer you hoped for today, but I'm still wishing you a wonderful visit next spring. If we can answer any additional questions as you countdown to your vacation please don't hesitate to swim back and let us know.

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
