    Planning a shorter trip with 3 kids (8,7 & 4) from 6/29 - 7/5/13. All early risers. Hoping to do 1 day each at 4 parks plus 1 day at water park. What do you recommend for itinerary? Which is best place to be for the 4th? Any special events?

    I am glad to help! Here is where I would suggest you go, by day;

    June 29 - Arrival Day
    June 30 - Hollywood Studios
    July 1 - Magic Kingdom
    July 2 - Animal Kingdom
    July 3 - Water Park
    July 4 - Epcot
    July 5 - Departure Day

    So I recommend Epcot on the Fourth of July. They have the best fireworks show, and the larger park space makes the crowds far less oppressive. Hollywood Studios would be a good second option, as they do have fireworks, and few people seem to think to go there.

    I have you at the water park on the 3rd because that is a very busy park day, so the water park may be another good choice for minimizing crowd impact.

    As for special events, they will post those a bit closer to the time in question. The parks should all have something related to the holiday.

    Have a magical vacation!
