Welcome aboard, Toni!
My daughter and I are setting sail on a Mother-Daughter cruise this fall too! We simply can't wait to leave the boys back home and have some bonding time!
Since it's just the two of you in your
stateroom, your stateroom host will make up the fold out couch bed for your daughter, unless you ask. So, ask! He or she will be happy to leave the couch a couch and pull the magical bed out of the ceiling creating a top bunk for your daughter. My daughter actually asked about this too, because she loves that top bunk! When we sail, she and my son have to flip a coin (after many failed attempts at deciding among themselves) to determine who gets that coveted top bunk. I'd probably feel the same way if I were their ages too!
I hope you've got some special outings planned for you and your daughter when you set sail. There are amazing
Port Adventures that let you experience the ports of call and make memories you'll always remember. Plus, when you log into your reservations to begin online check-in (75 days prior for first time Disney cruisers, and 90 or more days prior for those who have sailed with Disney before), you'll get to choose some special extras like a few specialty
Character Greetings. There is
so much included in your cruise, and since it's just the two of you, you'll have so much time to enjoy it all together!
Have fun planning, Toni!
