To all who come to planDisney, welcome. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us, Kayci. It won't be long until you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy, and I'm delighted to help you prepare.
Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are helpful and convenient for Guests with mobility challenges. My aunt used one during one of our visits and it made everything so much more comfortable for her. If you are planning to rent an ECV from the Disneyland Resort, they are available just outside of the main entrance to Disneyland Park to the right (when facing the entrance gates). All ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis for the day and can only be rented on site with no delivery options.
If your visit is for more than one day, you may want to consider renting from a local, private mobility rental company,
ScooterBug. This company will deliver your rental to your
Disneyland Resort hotel and also offer a pick-up service. We used this for my aunt's rental and it was so convenient to have the ECV waiting when we arrived at the hotel, and returning it before we departed was also a breeze.
The
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will still be in full swing and you'll get to enjoy all of the fun during your visit. The
Paint the Night Parade is a must-do and something that I recommend everyone experience. Check the
Disneyland app for showtimes during your visit. I also recommend checking out
Walt Disney - A Magical Life to take it all back where everything started.
Kayci, I hope the information I shared is helpful and gives you the next step in your planning process. If you think of any other questions, please come back to visit us. Until then, I'll be sending all the pixie dust your way as you finish up your plans for your magical visit. Let the countdown to the magic (and Mickey-shaped snacks) begin!
