Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for your question. I can't think of a better way to begin your Walt Disney World vacation than a magical night on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Once you check in at your resort I suggest heading to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The beach in front of the resort has a perfect view of the
Electric Water Pageant and Wishes fireworks. Prior to heading to the beach you can grab a tasty treat from
Capt. Cook's. This is a quick service restaurant located on the first floor of the Great Ceremonial Hall.
You can also check with the front desk to see if they are showing a
Movie Under The Stars. At the Polynesian a giant inflatable movie screen is erected near the pool. This is better than any movie theatre I have ever seen.
I checked the hours for your arrival date and it appears the Electric Water Pageant will be floating by the Polynesian at approximately 9:00 p.m. and Wishes will take place at 10:00 p.m.
