    Hi! I am planning to purchase a Disney World Annual Pass and then activate it in July. Will I be able to purchase discounted tickets to an after hours event online before the Annual Pass is activated? Thanks for your help!

    I’d like to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel AND the Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family!

    Being an Annual Passholder myself, I like to say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made! Not only do we get enchanting benefits like discounts on select merchandise, dining, and Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but we also get to prolong the magic for an entire year!

    I love Disney After Hours events. They’re so magical and full of wonderful entertainment and light crowds. You are going to have the best time! I have great news for you: You will still be able to purchase discounted tickets to Disney After Hours events before your Annual Pass has been activated, as long as you have purchased it. 

    If you have purchased your Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass online, it will link to your My Disney Experience account. This way, you’re still able to take advantage of the discounted tickets. If you don’t get the Annual Pass online and instead call in to purchase it, you will get a confirmation number and you can link that confirmation number to receive your discount. In case you’re not seeing the discounted tickets for Disney After Hours because your Annual Pass has not been activated, you can call Walt Disney World Resort Tickets and they will be able to verify that you are an Annual Passholder and get your discounted Disney After Hours tickets.
