We are planning to park our vehicle in the lot at the Magic Kingdom and leave in the middle of the day. When we return to the Magic Kingdom later that day, will we have to pay the parking fee again?

    Amelia,

No, you will not have to pay again for parking.  Just keep your receipt from the first time you paid, and you will be let in without paying the fee again. You can also show this receipt to park for free on the same day at any of the other parks. As of June 2008, parking is $11 per day for cars.

If you are staying at any of the Disney resorts you can simply show your parking permit from the resort and you will be let into the parking lot for free.  Parking is also free at the parks for Disney World Annual Passholders.

Just in case you, or any other readers, aren't aware, the parking for the Magic Kingdom is actually at the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC).  When you follow the signs at WDW to get to the Magic Kingdom you will end up at the TTC parking lot.  From your parking spot you will take a tram to the TTC, and then board either the Monorail or the ferry boat to get over to the Magic Kingdom entrance.  Be sure to write down your parking spot location (or perhaps take a digital photo of where you car was parked) so you can easily find your car when you return.

    Hope that helps. ºoº
