we are planning a one day trip in march, with a 3 year old, and wondering where the best place to see princess characters is at the magic kingdom- have a daughter that wants to meet them

Hi Susan!  How exciting for your three year old little girl!  Your princess can see the princesses in several different locations.  For a one on one meeting with them take her to the tent in Toon Town at MK.  There are usually three princesses at a time there for her to meet and have photos made together.  Ariel can be found at her Grotto, which is directly behind Dumbo, and Jasmine and Aladdin can be found in Adventureland, normally near the flying carpet ride.  A lot of little girls also like to visit with Alice and she can be spotted near the Tea Cups in Fantasyland.  Also don't miss the great show in front of the castle.  Many princesses perform in this wonderful show.  I hope this helps, and oh don't forget, although not a princess, Tinkerbell can now be found in Pixie Hollow.
