Planning a Nov vacation with 10 year old boys at All Star Sports. We really want a short walk to the food court and busses, but also want to stay in Touchdown Hall. If we book preferred rooms, could we possibly downgrade to Touchdown Hall when we arrive?

    Dear Sarah,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is such a great Walt Disney World Resort hotel - I have stayed there myself and enjoyed it a lot! Room requests are truly only requests, so it will depend on several factors such as how full the hotel is, how many guests are checking out on the day that you are checking in, and so forth. You can absolutely make the request for the building that you want when you arrive, but there isn't any guarantee that you will be able to get that desired room. You could request Touchdown Hall, but they won't be able to refund the difference between Preferred and Standard if they place you in a Standard room by your choice.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
