    Planning for Nov 11,- 18, 3 adults, 3 cildren-7,5,4.Do they ever offer room discount on AOA or free dining? last 3 years they have had free dining these dates but not sure if AOA was on the list. room discount or free dining- which is usually a better deal

    Hi Sheri,

    The Art of Animation is one of the newest resorts at the Walt Disney World Resorts. It also offers family suites which are a great option for large families or anyone who wants more space. 

    Because of these two factors, the Art of Animation is sometimes not included in the room or free dining discounts. However, it does not mean it will not be included in the future so I would keep checking.

    Personally, I would always take the room discount over free dining. Personally, I can not eat all the food offered even on the most basic plan. In addition, there our days that I split a lunch with my husband. Food is the one area where you can save money. Even if you packed a box of cereal from home and ate this meal in your room, you could save between $5-10 per person per day for this meal. It is harder to find a deal on a room.
