Hello Moms! I am planning an 11-night trip divided between two resorts in August. How can I best (cheapest, easiest) transfer my family of 6 and our luggage from the AKL to the BLT? Are there any local van services that might also make a grocery stop?

    Hi Kimberley!

Oh, your trip sounds like fun! I haven't had a chance to stay at Bay Lake Towers yet, but it is high on my list to try out!

The easiest (and cheapest!) way to transfer your luggage between two Disney resorts is to contact Bell Services when you are checking out of your first resort. Be sure to let them know that you are transferring to another Disney resort and would like to have your baggage moved. Bell services will coordinate moving your luggage for you while you simply enjoy your day. You can feel free to go tour a Disney park, shop, or even head over to check in at Bay Lake Towers.

Later in the day, once you're moved into your new room,  you'll be notified that your baggage is ready for delivery. That's all there is to it!

If you'd like to incorporate a grocery stop, your best bet will be to use a cab. Many cab companies in the area also offer van services, so you can choose to use a van to travel with your family and luggage to Bay Lake Towers.

Hope this helps! Have a great time!
