We are planning a 4 night family vacation aboard the Dream in September. Will there be a semi-formal or formal night on this cruise? Also, what time do you suggest arriving at the port on departure day?

    Ahoy Keri!
I'm excited to hear you are planning on embarking on a magical Disney Dream voyage in September!  I know it will be a vacation filled with wonder and excitement for your family!
On your sailing, you can expect one optional "dress-up" night, one pirate themed night (or cruise casual) and two cruise casual evenings.  The characters will be dressed in their finest cruise attire so it is up to you on how fancy you want your crew to dress.  I always like to plan our nicest outfits for this evening so we can take advantage of having our picture made by the ship's photographer and with our favorite characters all dressed up!
You will be able to select your port arrival time when you complete your online check-in.  If you are a first-time cruiser this will be 75 days prior to sailing (past cruisers can complete online check-in either 90 or 120 days depending on number of past sailings).  Selecting your port arrival time, reserving port adventures and onboard fun can all be reserved at 12:01am Eastern Time on your assigned day.  My family likes to arrive at the port around noon so we can enjoy our first afternoon of our cruise vacation onboard. Actual boarding usually begins around 11:45am, and all Guests must be onboard no later than 3:45pm.
I hope my answers are helpful, Keri!  If you have any other questions, please let me know!
    Have a magical day!
