i am planning a 4 night disney cruise for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 children) I know dining i included but I am wondering what is an appropriate amount of spending money to carry?

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Cathy!

Spending four unbelievable days aboard a Disney ship is going to be an experience of a lifetime!  Being spoiled by the magical crew will definitely make you want to book another voyage before your first one is even over!

The wonderful thing about cruising is most everything is included in your cruise fare! There are a few additional expenses such as alcohol, spa services, photos, adult-dining restaurants, Port Adventures, and shopping, but cash will not be needed for most these extra expenses since the ship is cashless.  When you check-in at the terminal your credit card will be linked to your "Key to the World" card, and all onboard charges will be put on this card.  The only cash you will need will be for things such as tipping or any souvenirs you might find when you are shopping ashore.

When you are onboard you can always stop by Guest Services on Deck Three to obtain a print out of your charges or check them on your stateroom room TV.  I hope this helps with your planning, and please let me know if you need any other questions answered!

Have a magical day and wonderful cruise vacation!
