We are planning to take a 3-night cruise followed by a 4-night stay at the Polynesian using DVC points starting on 6/7/26. When can I make that reservation?

    Welcome Home, James!

And, a great big beautiful welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are planning a land and sea vacation, including using your Disney Vacation Club Membership for a stay at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows and a sail to the great wide somewhere. It is the best way to maximize the magic and be part of two worlds!

James, if Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is not your home Resort, you can book that stay beginning 7 months from your desired check-in date.  If it is your Home Resort, then you can book it beginning 11 months from your desired check-in date. For the cruise portion, you should be able to book that if those itineraries are available, which it looks like they are right now.

Now, if you are planning to use Disney Vacation Club Points for the Disney Cruise Line portion as well as the Disney Vacation Club Resort stay, you can call Disney Vacation Club Member Services who can transfer your Vacation Points into Reservation Points and make the cruise booking for you.  Please note there is a $95 non-refundable transaction fee for making the booking (subject to change.) Then, when your 7-month (or 11-month for your Home Resort) booking window becomes available, you can book the land stay at a Disney Vacation Club Resort with your Vacation Points.

After you have booked both of these, you can then add anything additional you would like, including Disney Cruise Line transportation (if you are traveling to Port Canaveral).  If you book the cruise portion using Disney Vacation Club Points or a combination of cash and vacation points, then Member Services will manage your cruise booking. If you use cash only to book the cruise portion, then the cruise can be booked directly with Disney Cruise Line.

My recommendation would be to call Member Services to discuss your plans, and they will be able to help you maximize your Membership for this magical vacation. They will also be able to confirm the best way to make these bookings for you.

I hope this helps you, James! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back here to see me and I'll be so happy to help you.

    See ya real soon!
