Hi there, Renee! Thanks so much for stopping by the
Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney - I'm so glad you decided to be our guest. I LOVE talking about all things DVC, especially
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, so this question is right up my alley.
The Polynesian is my absolute favorite place to hang my hat (or Mickey ears!) anytime we visit
Walt Disney World Resort. In a stroke of good luck, we made this tropical paradise our Disney Vacation Club Home Resort! It has a spectacular location and excellent dining options.
Kona Cafe is a family favorite - one of our traditions is to have breakfast there on our last morning, and it's also a great choice for lunch or dinner. Guests at the Poly can also enjoy a DOLE Whip just outside the rear door of the Great Ceremonial House at
Pineapple Lanai and take in the views of
Magic Kingdom Park.
We usually stay in a Deluxe Studio at the resort, and they are quite spacious. There are plenty of outlets in the room to accommodate your pair of ECVs - you may need to move things around a bit to make them fit, but it is definitely doable. The full bathroom is really roomy, so you could even plug in there for an overnight charge! You can always check with the Cast Members at the Front Desk or Bell Services for their opinion on the best configurations.
Renee, I hope this information is helpful as you're counting down the days until your March vacation. I just know you and your sister are going to have all sorts of magical adventures together! Thanks again for visiting planDisney, and please reach out again anytime if we can help add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
Stay Magical!
Susan
