Hello! Planning next trip and have questions. Debating staying at CBR or AofA. At what Skyliner stations do you have to exit the gondola instead of continuing to DHS? And can a microwave be requested for room? Seen conflicting info on forums. Thank you!

    Welcome back, Janet!

It is so great to see you here at planDisney.

Janet, you can not go wrong staying at either Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Both resorts have an amazing immersive theme, fabulous recreation options, and proximity to the Disney Skyliner.

I will tell you that when using the Disney Skyliner for transportation, I would prefer to stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort since you do not need to transfer Skyliner Gondolas to get to either EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios. Simply hop on the correct line, and off you go!

When traveling from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios or EPCOT, you will have to transfer Skyliner gondolas at the Caribbean Beach Skyliner station to get to either park.

At either resort you will not be able to request a microwave for your room however you will be able to use the microwave located in the main quick service location for each resort; the Landscape of Flavors at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and the Centertown Market at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. The exception to this is if you book a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, which will include a microwave in the kitchenette.

I hope that this gave you a bit of guidance, Janet. Please come back here with any more questions.

We love to hEAR from you!
