We are planning our next trip & the kids will be 4,3 & an infant. I see the max occ on most standard rooms is 4. I am open to a two bedroom as long as it does not break the bank. Are there rooms with bunkbeds for the older & a playpen for baby?

Hi, Jennifer!  When you see the room maximum occupancy, you don't count children ages two and under in the number of people in your party.  In your case, your littlest one won't count, so you will be able to stay in a room with a maximum occupancy of four guests.

Having said that, there are some resorts that have bunk beds.  There are rooms at Disney's Wilderness Lodge that offer bunk beds, and there are some at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge as well.  At Port Orleans Riverside, some of the rooms feature a trundle bed under one of the double beds, and when pulled out, the trundle bed can accommodate a child under the age of nine.

You can request a pack and play for your room so the baby has a place to sleep.  Some rooms - especially at the Disney Vacation Club properties - will already be equipped with them.  Just note it when you make your reservation, and remind them at check in to be sure you have one in your room.

One other option if you are looking for something larger that won't break the bank is the All Star Music Family Suite.  The suite offers two full bathrooms, a separate bedroom for mom and dad with a king size bed, and three fold out options in the living room.  It sleeps up to six guests, and has a small kitchenette with a microwave and small refrigerator.

    Have a magical vacation!
