Hi Matthew,
Yes, Guests staying the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels located on Crescent Lake, Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Boardwalk Villas; Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Villas; as well as the
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, have convenient access to the World Showcase through back entrance known as the International Gateway.
I have to tell you, the International Gateway is one of my absolute favorite spots in all of Walt Disney World. It is beautiful, peaceful, convenient, and it just feels like "home" to me. As a special tip, this is also a spot where you might encounter characters not often found elsewhere! One of my favorite memories was stumbling upon Captain Hook here when our girls were very young. My feisty older daughter walked right up and shook his hook! Years later, she still talks about how brave she was at that moment.
Ok, back to your question: the International Gateway opens at the same time as the Front Entrance to Epcot. On mornings where Future World has early Extra Magic Hours, you will be welcomed into the theme park through the International Gateway, but since World Showcase is not yet open, you will be limited in your exploration.
The France Pavillion will be open to your right so you can swing by for a delicious breakfast at
Las Halles Boulangerie - Patisserie, but there will be a rope beyond that closing off the any pavilion beyond. You can also stroll straight up and over the walkway to Future World. The United Kingdom and Canada Pavilions that you pass will remain closed until the World Showcase opens.
I hope that helps, Matthew!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
