If we're planning to come for MVMCP, do we still need to purchase a regular PARK ticket if we plan to arrive when the Party begins, at 7p? Or just the MVMCP special event ticket?

Hi there, Denise! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan another vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Even though fall feels as though it's just begun, the holidays will soon be upon us at Walt Disney World Resort! As soon as November 1st rolls around, all of Walt Disney World Resort will receive the beginnings of its holiday makeover. One of the most popular events, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, will also be as soon as November 8th! During this festive special event, Guests are invited into the Magic Kingdom to enjoy an evening of exclusive holiday entertainment, iconic attraction overlays, and tempting treats. This year, an all-new Nighttime Spectacular will be debuting during this jolly celebration! Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will feature some of your favorite holiday tunes as Cinderella's Castle is lit up in a combination of lights, projections, and fireworks!

Guests that have purchased admission to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party may enter the Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 pm. As long as you enter at this time or after, you are not required to have any additional tickets. Enter as soon as you are able is a great strategy to maximize the number of attractions you are able to experience or get a jump start on some of the more popular Disney Character Meet and Greet lines!

I hope you and your family have a magically merry time visiting Walt Disney World Resort!
