We are planning on the March 7 cruise to Bahamas from Miami and am wondering if my child can bring pirate items on board for the Pirate Deck party. Can he bring a costume and sword and such to enhance the experience?

    Arghh Rebecca!
Pirates IN the Caribbean night is one of my most favorite events on a Disney Cruise!  This themed evening is always a swashbuckling good time, and the characters will be dressed in their pirate attire and so will many Guests!  I definitely recommend bringing along your son's pirate gear so he can join in all the festivities!  If you bring along his toy sword, be sure to pack it in your carry-on luggage so it won't raise any flags in the checked luggage screening at the airport and at cruise terminal.
Be sure to check your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, for all the fun on Pirate Night and for your entire sailing!  It will be your go-to guide each and every day!
I'm glad you stopped by with your question, Rebecca!  It won't be long now so please keep me posted if you think of anything else!
    Have magical day!
