Hi Melissa, welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on having earned the distinguished title of Fairy Grandmother. You are going to have such fun experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort with your grandkids. The top three attractions my kids love to experience with their grandparents at Magic Kingdom Park are Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "it's a small world after all," and Jungle Cruise. I encourage you to be in the moment when soaring high on Dumbo, but be sure to take time for a photo op after your flight on the stand-alone Dumbo found by the attraction's exit.
You may absolutely bring your own water and snacks into Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy throughout your park day, Melissa. In fact, I highly encourage it! Even though Scar is a Disney villain, he's right about the importance of being prepared, especially for long park days. Just make sure there are
no glass containers or food that requires heating or refrigeration. It's also helpful to know that complimentary ice water is available at all quick-service dining locations throughout the theme parks.
Staying hydrated and having some of your grandkids' favorite snacks in your park bag will help keep everyone in good spEARits throughout your park day. If you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy said snacks, I highly recommend checking out the
Baby Care Center at Magic Kingdom, which is located to the left of
The Crystal Palace. This roomy, air-conditioned space is not just for babies - kids of all ages can cool down, use the restroom, and enjoy a few minutes of downtime between attractions.
I hope you have a great time making memories on Main Street, U.S.A. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
