Hiya Elizabeth,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your dining question! I love that you’ll be visiting
Magic Kingdom on a party day—it’s truly one of my favorite times to go. In my experience, the crowds are lighter, wait times for attractions tend to be shorter, dining reservations are easier to grab, and there’s just an extra sprinkle of pixie dust in the air. Add in all those twinkling holiday decorations, and you’ve got yourself a day straight out of a Holiday card!
Now, let’s jingle all the way into your question. Since you don’t have tickets to the party, you’ll be able to make
dining reservations up until the park closes to day Guests, which is typically at 6:00 PM on party nights. After that, only Guests with wristbands for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be able to enjoy dining and festivities. So if you’re finishing up dinner a little after 6, you may be kindly reminded by Cast Members to head out so party Guests can enjoy their holly jolly evening. If you have a
Park Hopper, this is a perfect night to dash over to another park. If not, I think of it as a cozy chance to head back to your resort, maybe sip some hot cocoa, and enjoy all the festive décor around the hotels.
Since your trip is in November, I also highly recommend heading to EPCOT for the
Festival of the Holidays. It’s truly magical, with holiday kitchens serving up festive flavors from around the world,
holiday storytellers sharing beloved traditions, and the breathtaking
Candlelight Processional that always gives me chills. And don’t miss the
Holiday Cookie Stroll—you’ll collect stamps as you sample cookies from around World Showcase and earn a sweet surprise at the end. Now that’s what I call a Holiday wish come true!
Elizabeth, I hope this helps you feel ready for your holiday adventure. If you think of more questions as you plan your merry visit, please don’t hesitate to stop by again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
