On Mickey’s Christmas Party day, can ticket holders (without general admission) make a dining reservation to dine at 4PM? Or only after 4PM (like 4:10 etc)? What if we are already there to attend but it is too crowd and cannot get into the park on time?

Merriest greetings, Sukwon! I am so glad you came to planDisney with your question about celebrating the most wonderful time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth.

I had the chance to go rockin' around the Christmas tree at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last week. It was a bright time, the right time to rock the night away! Mickey welcomes Guests to the party at 7 p.m., but the park opens for party people starting at 4 p.m.

During this early entry time, you can enjoy all the available attractions and dining. I recommend dining reservations no earlier than 4:15 p.m. My family had 5:00 p.m. reservations before Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, which was practically perfect for us.

Guest attending the party start lining up at the gates around 3:30 p.m., and it can take a while for everyone to get scanned in for entry and their wristbands. If you are in the crowd that arrives early, you could get into Magic Kingdom Park and to your restaurant shortly after 4 p.m. There is no separate line or earlier entry for people with a dining reservation. Ours at 5 p.m. gave us the cushion to show up after the initial rush had cleared. We breezed right through and had time to take in the atmosphere on our way to Adventureland.

Have you seen Disney Parks Blog's Foodie Guide to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party 2024? There are so many delicious treats. I will warn you, however, that the Festive Pretzel with chocolate-hazelnut drizzle, caramel sauce, and TWIX cookie bar pieces is listed as "jumbo," and they mean it. It was large enough for several of us to share. Talk about sugarplums dancing in our heads!

I hope you have a magical time, and let your heart be light. If you have any other questions, please come back by planDisney. We're here to help you sleigh the season at Walt Disney World.

    Happy Holly Days!
