I am planning on going to Magic Kingdom on the day we are checking into a Disney property. How can i get my parking passes and magic bands set up with separate cards for charges before I head to the park?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!

Amanda, just like you I prefer to head to the Magic Kingdom before even stepping foot in my hotel. Armed with my trusty MagicBand, nothing can stop me from walking down Main Street, U.S.A. towards Cinderella Castle as soon as possible.

Amanda, to be sure that you are not charged for parking at the Magic Kingdom, you will want to make sure that your resort reservation is linked to your My Disney Experience account. Once your resort reservation is linked, you can simply present your MagicBand to the parking attendant and you should not be charged. No physical pass is needed! Please note that you will still be responsible for parking charges associated with your Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay.

Now, for MagicBand charging privileges, this is a little more complicated. As you may have already experienced, you may only assign one card to your party during the online check-in process. Do not worry, you are able to assign different credit cards to different MagicBands; however, you will need to visit your resorts front desk to take advantage of this feature.

I hope that this helped, Amanda. Have a magical week, and please come back here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help with any other Walt Disney World Resort questions!

    See you real soon!
