Hi, planning to take Lyft on disembarkation day. Is there usually cellphone signal as soon as ship docks or should we request for Lyft ride while in line at customs? I am hoping there are plenty of Lyft and Uber drivers port of Miami...

Ahoy there, Diane! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question.

When your Disney Cruise Line adventure comes to an end, it's kind of a harsh landing back into reality. I turn my phone back on as soon as I wake up that last morning, and I have always been able to access the tons of emails, the text messages, and even the few voice mail messages about my car's extended warranty I always seem to get. It may not be the best signal right away, but you should be able to reach out to your rideshare service.

I've also never had to wait too long for an Uber or Lyft at the Port of Miami. When you get off the ship, there are signs to indicate where you go for your rideshare service, and you'll pretty much just follow the pack to wait for your ride.

Don't forget to give yourself time to enjoy that last, amazing breakfast. Whether you head to the buffet or back to your main dining room, it's the last bit of vacation magic, so soak it all in!

    Have an amazing trip, Diane!
