Hi! We are planning to make lightsabres at Saavi's first thing in the morning during our visit to Disneyland. Will we have to carry these around the park all-day or are there options for storing them? Many Thanks- Caroline

    Bright Suns, Caroline!

Welcome to our corner of the Planet of Batuu! We are delighted to have you join our intergalactic fight against the Dark Side. Under the instruction of The Gatherers, you will build a custom lightsaber, learn the ways of the Jedi, and join the Force. Beware, though; this is a covert workshop, so no leaking of your location to the First Order!

During my visits to Black Spire Outpost, I've witnessed a variety of ways to carry the lightsaber. Most younglings want to keep it very close, so I've seen the lightsaber go round the world on "its a small world," as well as take a spin on the teacups in its padded sheath! My dEAR friend Tony was asked a similar question, and he reminded us that if you are a Guest of a Disneyland Resort hotel, you have complimentary delivery to your Resort, as well as package pickup at select locations. The rental lockers inside the Park are a bit too small to contain the Force, so those are out, but the jumbo lockers outside of the Parks should be able to hold your deconstructed blade. Finally, if you've used EARthly travel for your galactic visit, you can secure your lightsaber in the trunk of your car.

I know you are focused on becoming a Jedi, but take a moment to visit the shops of Black Spire Outpost! A few weeks ago, we stopped at Toydarian Toymaker, where we found quite a few "friends" that needed to join us on our journey home!

    'Til the Spires!
