Planning a late Dec trip but want to reserve a MK day that there isn't a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. I believe the 2025 schedule isn't out yet but in passed years do these run after 12/25? is there typically an end date for these? Thanks!

    Hiya Vannessa,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so excited that you are planning to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth in December. Although my motto is that the best time to visit Walt Disney World Resort is on days that end in “y,” the holiday season is one of my favorites. I love all the intricate details in the holiday decorations, the yummy yuletide snacks, and all the merry festivities.

While this year’s dates have not been released yet, traditionally, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties wrap up before Christmas Day. Last year, the final day was on December 20th, and the two years before that, it went until the 22nd. If you are planning a trip after Christmas Day, you likely will not need to plan around a party date. That said, we typically see the official dates announced in June, so you will be able to know for sure very soon.

The great news, though, Vannessa, is that even if there aren’t holiday parties going on, there will likely still be some lingering holiday magic. Usually, some holiday decorations are still up that last through the new year, and also, EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays tends to run until the 30th. So, if you want to still experience the holidays without having to worry about a party, you should be able to do so in late December. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can help with.

    Happy Planning,
